In April 2009 we welcomed our daughter, Harper. Both of our children’s genders were kept a surprise until birth and while sitting up in the hospital bed at 3 am, I added a bow to the traditional hospital hat, letting everyone know our little girl had arrived. After encouragement from family and friends and many requests for their own hats, Tweetlebug Boutique was created. We started with one hat, the Harper, which still remains the most popular. We have come to add another 4 hats, allowing mommies to better express their style.

We have also expanded our brand to include hair bows and holders. All of our products are made in the USA from products that are also made in the USA.

Along this journey we have met many inspirational people and are truly lucky to have partnered with them. All of our photography is done by the very talented Faith Massey of Images by Faith Portrait Art (And yes, that is Harper in the picture above, it is one of the most frequently asked questions).  We have partnered with Beth and Jennifer of Dear Baby to bring you another unique must have keepsake for your new addition. It has been a pleasure to work with Ms. Marion Wilson, who for 75 years has been hand-making her beautiful pieces and has shared with me so many wonderful ideas on Tatting lace, a wonderful art that she is very gifted at. She individually creates each doily found on the Adelaide.

We are honored to be  partnering with Levine’s Children Hospital in our home base of Charlotte, NC to provide free hats for the new additions in their NICU. As we continue to grow, our contributions to them will also grow.

The best part of all of this is being able to provide quality handmade pieces, to be worn at the most precious times in your daughter’s life, while continuing my full time job as a stay at home mom and wife to my beautiful children and my wonderful husband.
